Ali Awad is an AI researcher, engineer, and entrepreneur specializing in computer vision and vision-language AI. He holds a PhD in computer vision focused on image enhancement and robust visual perception and has authored many publications in the field. He turns that research into production AI systems that perform in the field, not just in the lab, with work spanning open benchmarks, vision-language models, and real-time inference.

As Founder and CEO of BlinkFree, Ali leads the company's vision, product, engineering, and AI strategy. Working alongside security teams, he designed BlinkFree's real-time multi-camera platform to turn existing CCTV into an intelligent assistant that watches, understands, and never blinks. His focus is reliable security technology that helps teams find critical moments faster.
